KAY in the Home is ideal for moms, dads, nannies, grandparents, and anybody who wants to share yoga with children in their Home. You will learn calming, soothing, playful, and insanely fun methods to share the science of yoga with the children in your Home.
"They grow up so fast!” We’ve all heard the old adage. “Minutes go slow like years, and years fly by in a minute.” But, when we are in the thick of things, e.g., diapers or early communication training, baby food or baby-led weaning, public school or private, sports or arts, reading enough, too much screen time, etc., making these decisions for our children, to raise them up the best we can, never ends! Why not use this time to impart all of the things you wish your parents had done for you? Wouldn’t your childhood have been more successful and enjoyable with the presence of mind and confidence a yoga and meditation practice brings? You wouldn’t even know it was “yoga” with all of the songs and games you play!
The KAY in the Home curriculum aims to give you the knowledge, tools and practical skills required to successfully bring yoga and meditation into your home and your daily routines. Whether you use the lessons as a parent, a babysitter, a grandparent, aunt or uncle, KAY in the Home has you covered. Included in this 6-hour self-paced KAY in the Home course are studies on meditation for children, the reasons and ways to create routine in the home, and suggested moments for you to create and develop peaceful feelings. There are also dozens of games, activities and crafts created and curated specifically for KAY in the Home students.
