Workshop Overview:

Whether you’re a kids yoga teacher interested in expanding your training horizons; an educator or professional for Jewish children looking for a values-based way to provide a peaceful and productive learning environment; or a parent/caregiver open to new ideas for living with greater peace, love, and health in the home, this workshop is for you! In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the commonalities of Judaism and Yoga and how combining the two practices can enhance your current practices in your classroom, home, and community. Participants will receive ideas and guidelines for content and hands-on activities to share with the children in their lives.

  • Knowledge or practice of Judaism is NOT necessary!
  • Knowledge or practice of yoga is NOT necessary!
  • This workshop will NOT contain any religious or spiritual material other than factual learning points needed for educational flow.
Your workshop facilitator, Lisa Schreiber, is a Kidding Around Yoga Teacher, co-creator of Yoga Yeladim, a KAY online course, and author of The Promise of Shabbat: Yoga Poses for Happy Kids.
