Learn to teach from a trauma-informed perspective.

What is Trauma-Informed Yoga?

KAY’s Trauma-Informed Yoga course will provide students with a better understanding of trauma- what it is, how it works, and how it impacts people in everyday life- as well as techniques, principles, and sequences yoga teachers can use to become more effective teachers, and able to teach from a trauma informed perspective.

For this self-paced course, students will be required to complete online modules (written content, videos, readings, journal entries, and quizzes), and to practice creating trauma informed lesson plans.

While the lesson content is geared towards teaching children, the principles of trauma informed teaching can be applied to teaching students of any age.
