Workshop Overview:

A great Yoga Story can make your Kids Yoga class highly engaging and exhausting! Not to mention that it is one of our favorite and most versatile activities that can be taught virtually or in real life. Join us for this workshop where you will learn how to infuse literacy practice into your yoga classes as we discuss different ways to create and present Yoga Stories to students of all ages utilizing current and classic children's literature.

A few more details:
Participants will
-learn a number of different approaches to writing a Yoga Story using existing children's literature
-learn different methods to present the story to students and the benefits of each
-begin to think about writing a Yoga Story of their own with guidance from the trainer, who will lead them through the process using a foolproof formula for excellence

Materials/Supplies needed:
-Notetaking supplies
-A favorite piece of children's literature (optional)
-Sticky notes (optional)
